About Spyne
Spyne is building the AI operating system for automotive retail. Starting with visual merchandising and expanding into conversational AI, Spyne helps dealers move inventory faster, respond to buyers instantly, and run more of the dealership stack with AI.

Founded by operators from Amazon, Cox, and OYO, Spyne has grown 30x in under three years and now powers 1,500+ dealerships across the US. Its products, Studio AI and Vini AI, are coming together into a full-stack Retail AI platform for modern dealerships. Backed by Accel, Vertex Ventures, and Storm Ventures, Spyne is emerging as one of the category leaders redefining how dealerships operate in the AI era.

  • Vini AI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFjhPWp6gJU
The next chapter is bigger than two products. We're building a dealer agent marketplace: a catalog of AI agents a dealership can turn on the way it turns on an app, each one doing a real job inside the store. Merchandising agents that price and publish inventory. Marketing agents that build and run campaigns. Sales agents that chase leads until they book. Service agents that fill the bay schedule. Finance agents that move deals through F&I. Someone has to take each of those agents from an idea to a live, paid, working thing inside hundreds of dealerships.

What you'll own
  • Ship agents end to end. Pick a job inside the dealership, understand it well enough to argue with a general manager about it, define the agent, build the prompts and workflows, write the evals, run the pilot, launch it, onboard the first dealers, and iterate on real usage. Conception to adoption. No handoff to someone else at the halfway point.
  • Build the self-serve layer. Design how agents get discovered, configured, activated, permissioned, and measured inside the Spyne dealer console, so a dealer can go from curiosity to live agent without a call with us.
  • Own the numbers after launch. Activation, task completion, human intervention rate, retention, revenue. An agent that launches and doesn't get used is a failed launch, and it stays yours until it works.
  • Sit in the customer's chair. Listen to agent calls. Read transcripts. Sit in on onboarding sessions. Visit dealer workflows through our US team. Most of what you build will come from something you heard, not something you were told to build.
  • Write. Specs, eval rubrics, launch notes, release comms, help docs, internal updates. Clear writing is most of the job.
Who this is for
  • You've built something with LLMs that other people actually used. A tool, an agent, a workflow, a side project with real users. We care more about that than your resume.
  • You can prototype without waiting for engineering. Comfortable with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, n8n, or whatever gets a working version in front of someone by Friday.
  • You understand how agentic systems break: tool calls, context, retrieval, latency, hallucination, handoff to humans. You know what an eval is and why vibes-based testing fails in production.
  • You have taste in product and you can defend it with reasoning rather than opinion.
  • You're comfortable being the least experienced person in a room and still asking the obvious question.
  • Graduating in 2026 or 2027, or recently graduated.
  • Bonus: exposure to B2B SaaS, US markets, automotive, marketplaces, or PLG/self-serve products. Prior startup or founder experience.
What you get
  • Direct reporting line to the CEO/CPO, weekly, on your actual work.
  • Real ownership of live agents used by paying dealerships in the US.
  • Experiencing what an AI-native company looks like from the inside during a scaling phase: product, GTM, pricing, onboarding, and support.
  • Strong performance converts to a full-time APM offer.
  • If you want to spend six months learning how AI products get built, sold, adopted, and fixed at scale, this is one of the few places in India where you'll do all four yourself.
