Who We're Looking For

This isn't a traditional sales role. We're looking for a modern, AI-augmented Account Executive, someone who combines the hustle of outbound sales with the intelligence of today's AI-powered tools. You know how to build a pipeline from scratch, run a tight sales process, and close, but you also use AI to work smarter, personalise at scale, and move faster than the competition.
You'll own the full sales cycle, targeting US automotive dealerships, dealer groups, and automotive platforms from first touch to signed contract.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Powered Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Build and own a self-sourced outbound pipeline targeting US auto dealers, dealer groups, GMs, and digital retail decision-makers.
  • Use AI prospecting tools (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, etc.) to identify, enrich, and prioritise target accounts at scale.
  • Craft hyper-personalised outreach sequences using AI writing assistants (ChatGPT, Lavender, Smartwriter) — not spray-and-pray templates.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator + AI signals (job changes, funding alerts, intent data) to time outreach perfectly.
  • Use video prospecting tools (Loom, Vidyard, HeyGen) to stand out in crowded inboxes with personalised video messages.

Consultative Selling & Demo Excellence

  • Run sharp, tailored discovery calls that uncover real pain — inventory photography costs, slow listing speed, low lead conversion.
  • Deliver compelling product demos that connect Spyne's AI visual tech directly to dealer ROI.
  • Use AI call intelligence tools to self-coach, review your own calls, and sharpen your pitch continuously.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across dealership stakeholders (GMs, Marketing Managers, Digital Retail Heads, Owners).

Negotiation & Closing

  • Lead commercial conversations with confidence, handle pricing objections, competitive comparisons, and procurement friction.
  • Structure SaaS/subscription deals aligned to dealership size and use case.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene using CRM + AI deal intelligence (Salesforce, HubSpot + Einstein, Clari, or similar).
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets.

AI-Augmented Productivity (Non-Negotiable)

  • Use AI tools daily to increase output, more personalised outreach, faster follow-ups, and better call prep.
  • Build and iterate your own AI-assisted sales workflows (automated research, sequence optimisation, meeting summaries).
  • Stay current with the evolving AI sales tech stack and proactively bring new tools and approaches to the team.
  • Share what's working, contribute to building Spyne's sales playbook as a practitioner, not just an executor.

Account Expansion & Market Intelligence

  • Ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success post-close and identify upsell triggers early.
  • Feed competitive and market intelligence back to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Represent Spyne at virtual and in-person automotive industry events.

Core Sales Skills

  • 3–5 years of B2B SaaS or tech sales experience with a proven quota-carrying track record
  • Strong outbound-first mindset, comfortable building a pipeline from zero with minimal inbound support
  • Demonstrated ability to run full-cycle deals — prospecting → discovery → demo → negotiation → close
  • Experience with multi-stakeholder selling in SMB to mid-market accounts
  • Solid negotiation skills with the ability to defend value and handle price-sensitive buyers
